

Dwight Lewis Marsh, son of the late Reverend John Marsh and the Reverend Dorothy Marsh, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 14th, 2016. He leaves behind his wife, Joann MacMichael Marsh, his sister and brother Louise and William Marsh, and children Nora, John, Stephanie, and Charles. Born in Rhodesia, Dwight spent his childhood on the mission at Mount Selinda, attended school at Northfield Mount Hermon, graduated from Yale University, and studied languages at Georgetown University. Dwight served his country in the US Army and in his subsequent career with the Foreign Broadcast Information Service in many locations overseas. He was a loving father, an avid tennis player, a talented photographer, and provided years of loving care to his grandchildren, Emily and Graham Marsh. His life exemplified the spirit of service to his family, church, and community. A memorial service will be held at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 945 G Street NW, Washington DC at 1:30pm, Sunday, December 4th.
