Fay Lohmann (nee Ojala) passed away on Sunday, December 7. She is survived by her devoted daughter Karen (Murray) Siegel. She was predeceased by her loving husband Henry Lohmann, adoring daughter Gretchen Lohmann, and dear parents Eino Ojala and Verna Stenberg.
With her husband of 45 years, Fay first traveled the country as a Coast Guard family and then loved traveling the world in retirement. One of her greatest joys was spending summer vacations with family in the Outer Banks of North Carolina—a tradition she kept for fifty-nine consecutive years. She also cherished time with friends, whether playing bridge, going to lunch, or proudly sharing with them her famous pretzel treats.
Fay’s family will hold a private gathering of remembrance in her memory.
