Frances Eileen (Bushong) Darling passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on August 31, 1929, in Deshler, Ohio, Frances lived a long and meaningful life devoted to her family and to those she loved. Throughout her years, she embraced many roles - a loving daughter, a devoted sister, a cherished wife, nurturing mother, a proud grandmother, and a doting great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her strength kindness, and generosity of spirit.
Frances is survived by her son, Michael Darling (Joanne); her daughter, Jackie (Darling) Dyson; her grandchildren, Stefanie Tellmann (Eric), Joseph Beil, Catherine Coon (Justin), and Lisa Wagner (Rich); her great-grandchildren Anthony, Steven, Logan, Jack, Na'ji, and Kyle; her sister, Billie Jo Boyd; and her sister-in-law, Theresa Cummins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Franklin Bushong and Lelah Leyser Bushong; her beloved husband, Derwin W. Darling; and her brother, Donald F. Bushong.
