On Monday, March 12, 2018, FRANCIS L. McTAVISH, JR. of Silver Spring, MD, passed away peacefully in his son's home. Husband of the late Dona Rose McTavish; father of Kevin (Kim) McTavish, Timothy (Maureen) McTavish, Patrick McTavish, Kathleen McTavish, Susan Carter, the late Michael T. McTavish and Francis Lamont McTavish, III; brother of Cindy, Larry, Tom and Jon McTavish. Also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, March 23, 2018 from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 70 University Blvd. E., Silver Spring, MD where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Gallitzin, PA at 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Boys Town, Omaha, NE.
