Helen was a ray of sunshine in our office.  She greeted everyone with a smile and conversation.  She was perpetually curious and was loved by all that knew her.  At the ripe young age of 95, she sold $1.5M of real estate...a truly remarkable person!  Our lives were made better with her in them.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Helen Eaton, my dear friend of over 50 years as her hairdresser I want express to the family how very deeply I was moved to here that she is no longer with us. She was the most engaging kind and generous woman. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing she will be deeply missed by everyone in the Salon, who knew her. I only just found out about it today from a coworker of hers at Howard Hanna. She also was a real estate agent for me selling two homes and buying my current one always an intelligent conversationalist. she will be remembered and considered a great loss to many who knew her Diana Colaizzi.😢

Helen was an absolute joy to know! I worked with her at Howard Hanna and she gave the most cheerful energy. I adored her and I know my colleagues all feel the same. Much love and condolences to the family❤️.

It is with deep sadness that I heard about the passing of Helen. I remember her as a truly unique and funny person.
Lots of stories like the day she found that I tried to drop weight:” let’s go running”,she said .
“ you mean running like jogging Helen?”
“ Yes, let’s do it.” Although in her 80’s then,  I am sure she would have outrun me.
Another time I overheard her talking to a homeowner who had a place for rent but did not want animals. Helen’s client had a little dog and Helen tried to convince the landlord that the doggie was really more like a person than a dog. Her client got the place.
Then came the time when Helen sold real estate 2 weeks out of the month in Pittsburgh and for the rest of the month lived in “ a home for older people” in Maryland. I asked her what she was doing there with her time and “ aren’t you bored?”
“Well”, she said, the first thing I do in the morning is swim and because the gym is right next to it, I go lift some weight after. Then I have breakfast..”. 
She explained all of that to me over lunch at Aladdins and we both had fits of laughter.

I am very happy to have counted Helen as a friend. I will miss her.

I think everyone would agree that Helen was an incredibly kind, giving and very special lady. She always made you feel welcome always in her presence. She was our one and only realtor when we bought our forever home in Squirrel Hill and when I began my own real estate journey, she was so supportive and always did the sweetest things for my daughter who often accompanied me. I will never forget Helen and her generous and beautiful heart.
