Jack Moses Roziner, 72, of Silver Spring, MD, was born in Ulm, Germany on July 19, 1949 and passed away on April 24, 2022 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Miriam and Solomon Roziner, both survivors of concentration camps. Jack came to the United States at age 1 where he was raised by his devoted parents in the Washington, D. C. area.
Jack graduated from the University of Maryland in College Park with a concentration in finance. He remained in the Washington, D.C. area where he was a lifelong civil servant of more than 30 years building a successful career in government, mostly with the Internal Revenue Service. Jack was unassuming, humble, selfless, and caring. He was a proud father and grandfather, a loyal and trusted friend to those fortunate to be in his circle, and a tireless advocate for the disadvantaged. Jack always gave his kind heart, his time, and affection to those most in need. He is survived by his son, Joey, his daughter-in-law, Brianna, his grandson, Everett, and his former spouse and dear friend, Masako.
A service to honor Jack will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 11 AM at the Mt Lebanon Cemetery, located at 9500 Riggs Road, Adelphi, Maryland 20783.
