Assistant Professor of Medicine at George Washington University. Medical Director and Superintendent of DC General Hospital. Private Practice Internist specializing in Rheumatology, Silver Spring, MD. Former Member and Officer of the Parish Council of Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Washington, DC. Prolific writer of religious topics and Author of Orthodox texts. Beloved husband of Beatrice Nasou, loved and adored father of Peter Nasou, Eleni Paras, John Karambellas, and father-in-law of Mary Anne Scordas Nasou and Deborah Karambellas; loved and adored grandfather of Stephanie Marie Nasou, Dimitri Paras, Alexander Paras, Amalia Karambellas, and Justin Liles; loved great grandfather of Remy Karambellas, Rowen Liles, and Caelyn Liles. On Monday, February 12, from 6 to 8 p.m., viewing and prayers will be held at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD. Funeral services will be held at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 2815 36th St. NW, Washington, DC 20007, on Tuesday, February 13, at 10:30 a.m. with interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD.
