Julie and I were friends in the 1970s and 1980s.  In July of 1981, Julie and I went to London to witness the marriage of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer.  We were part of the crowd.   Today, I am mourning the death of HRH Queen Elizabeth II.  I had hoped to make contact with Julie and reminisce about our awesome Europe trip.  
Sadly, that will not happen.  Please accept my sincere condolences for Julie's friends and family.

Dear Ivin’s Family, my name is Dessiree  Ms. Julie used to lived across the street from my house; and we shared a wonderful friendship with Mr. John way before Joey. We enjoyed our little dogs 🐕 I had two, she always wanted to have one like my Charlie boy, a Corgi-mix.
Its very very sad to find out that Ms. Julie passed ....., really sad for me, I didn’t know 
until today May 25/2019  I’m sooo sorry. My sincere condolences for the Ivins, Joey, and Mr. John Bresnahan.

oh dearest Julie... too many fond memories of our 20+ year friendship to count. Shopping together as "twins", bawling after Forest Gump, dining out and staying at B&B's with our men/hubby's.  Hours chatting on the phone (and I do mean HOURS!)... Your memory that could recall details making it a pleasure and so easy to listen to a bubbly voice and personality like no other I knew before or have met since.  I do cherish all those times and memories.  And then as so often does--  "life happens", and though we went our separate ways-  I was blessed by your friendship.   I'm also glad to have had the fortune of some closure through the memorial service I understand you helped pre-plan- thank you.  Seeing Joey again was a joy-- such a handsome young man he's turned out to be!  And the broader "Duncan Family",  Mary Rose, Julie-- now beautiful grown women with families of their own. Opening their hearts and families up to finish that "journey" you and John began in a far-off country about 14 years ago.  We don't always understand how God works, but God Bless you in Heaven Julie, as well as the extended loving family that has surrounded Joey.  There are truly angels here on earth.

I was honored to be the flower girl at Julianne's wedding to my Uncle John.  She was loved by many and blessed us with the addition of our cousin Joey.  She loved her family dearly.  I hope she will rest in peace and delight in being with her parents once again.

I met Julie when I was hired as Joey's daycare provider many years ago.  She was so in love with her 'special boy', and never left home without her camera.  Many a photo shoot took place on my couch!  My condolences to Joey~

Julie was a champion for the cause of homeless dogs. She adopted two darling dogs - Winnie and Bonnie. One seen on her page here. They were lucky to have found a caring home with her.

Julie was my sister-in-law for a number of years. She was always a pleasant and curious conversationalist. I remember her elation as she arrived back in the USA at Dulles Airport with their newly adopted son, Joey. He was her best ever Russian souvenier.  May she rest in peace.

Julie and I worked together at Belmont ES for several years where she was the school librarian.  She had a smile for everyone and would do anything to help you.  She truly loved the children she worked with, but her greatest joy was her son, Joey.  She shared with me many times how Joey was the perfect child for her, and how she loved him the moment she saw him.  Words cannot express the sadness I feel in Julie's passing...This wonderful lady with a very kind heart!

Julie and I worked together at the Taylor Learning Center Media Center many years ago.  She was smart, efficient and always interested in helping students and staff finding information that they needed.  She was inspired to get her Master's in Library Science later.  She was a very nice person.
