Lois Burns

Lois Jean (Williams) Burns, age 91, passed away peacefully Monday, October 27, 2025, at Lorien Harmony Hall. She was born March 5, 1934, in Redstone, PA to the late Ernest and Ida (Richey) Williams. She also had eight siblings.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Frank Donald Burns whom she married July 8, 1952. They had 43 wonderful years together.

She is survived by her children; Bernice Richmond (Carson) and Keith Burns (Ann), her six grandchildren: Carrie McGurk, Ryan McGurk, Daniel Richmond, and Kristine Burns, Kelly Wilson (Aaron) and Mark Burns (Emily), and her three great-grandchildren: Grayson, Kennedy and Payton Wilson.

From a young age, Lois began working in the grocery industry and served the community with almost 30 years of service. Upon retirement, she enjoyed time with her family, friends and three Pekingese dogs, traveling, gambling at the casinos, and yelling BINGO.

Friends and family may visit from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20904. Interment will be private.

Her family would like to thank Lorien Harmony Hall Assisted Living and Gilchrist Hospice for the care given to our mother.
