Maria was born on August 28, 1931, in Analquito, Cuscatlán, El Salvador. She spent most of her life by her beloved husband side, Jose Gilberto Aragon, in Takoma Park, Maryland.
Maria was dedicated, hard worker and spent her years as a hairstylist in her hometown of Cojutepeque, El Salvador and later immigrated to the United States with her husband and seven children where she continued her passion in cosmetology in Washington D.C.
Maria was a loving and devoted mother to her eight children Alonso, Carlos, Jose Jr., Nelson, Cristina, Fredy, Margarita, and William. Her love overflowed to her twenty grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Maria loved spending time with her family and any time spent with them was important to her. She spent her time showering her family with love and preparing delicious food.
Maria will be deeply missed by family and numerous friends.
Family and Friends will gather to celebrate her life at the Hines – Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland 20904 on Monday, March 11, 2019. Visitation from 10:00 am – 12:00 p.m. immediately followed by the Celebration of life from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm. The Committal Service and Burial will be held from 2:00 pm – 2:30 pm at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery 13801 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland 20906.
