It is with great sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Marie Aimable Eusebe — a beloved wife, devoted mother and grandmother, cherished great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and a courageous woman whose legacy will live on for generations. Marie was a light to her family and community. She was a pioneer who opened doors for others, and a source of strength, joy, and unconditional love. She left us with grace, leaving behind a life full of meaning and impact.
Marie was born in La Vallée de Jacmel, Haiti, to Laurante Nicolas and Onil Nicolas, who both preceded her in death. She was the third of eight children. She is survived by five sisters and one brother, who will always remember her strength, warmth, and courage.
She was a proud mother to Gregory Norde and Hoobee Severe, and a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren. Her joy grew even greater with the blessing of one great-grandson, who brought extra light into her later years. She was also a wonderful aunt, always present for her nieces, nephews, and extended family with love, guidance, and a caring heart. She loved her children and her entire family deeply — her love had no limits, and she always put family first.
Marie Aimable shared a beautiful marriage with her husband, Antoine Eusebe, whom she married on June 4, 1986. Their union was full of love, laughter, and unwavering support. They loved traveling together, discovering new places and creating precious memories.
Marie Aimable was a woman of strength and determination. She was the first woman in her family to travel and obtain documentation to come to the United States. Through her determination and quiet sacrifice, she opened the path for many other family members to follow. She built a bridge of hope and opportunity for those she loved.
Her sacrifices — made quietly and humbly — changed the course of her family’s history. Because of her courage, generations now have a better life. Her sacrifice will not be in vain; it lives on through every success, every milestone, and every grateful heart she helped shape.
She had a love for cooking and always brought people together around the table. Every time we saw her, she would make us laugh and smile. She was a light in our lives, a constant source of happiness and energy. She was the life of the party, someone who could always brighten any room she entered.
Marie Aimable Eusebe will live on in the hearts of all who had the blessing of knowing her. Her kindness, love for family, wisdom, and legacy will never be forgotten.
She now rests in the arms of her Creator. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will continue to guide us, warm our hearts, and give us strength.
Rest in eternal peace, Aimable. Your journey on this earth was filled with love, sacrifice, joy, and light. You leave behind a legacy that will never fade — a legacy written not just in accomplishments, but in the lives you touched, the hearts you healed, and the family you uplifted.
You were our light, our laughter, our strength. Your absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but your presence will remain with us always — in every family gathering, in every joyful moment, in every loving memory.
We will carry your torch forward, with pride and purpose. Your legacy lives in all of us. We love you forever.
