Myron Preactor passed away peacefully on Friday September 11th. Mike, as he was known, was born in Philadelphia PA, November 5, 1929 to Jacob and Ida Preactor of blessed memory. His sister was Sylvia (Martin) Norman of blessed memory. Mike is survived by his children, Stephen (Brynn Berman) Preactor, Beth Preactor and Pamela (Jeff) Wilson, grandchildren Jessica (Joseph) Brookman, Valerie Preactor, Evan Wilson and Ava Wilson, in addition to many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mike served in the Army and afterward spent his career in the liquor business, starting in Philadelphia, then moving to the D.C. area in the early 60's. He was a sports fan of both Philly and D.C. pro teams. Above all, he was an erudite logophile ("Look it up!'') Services are private.
