On Saturday, January 29, 2022, Nancy Becker (nee Posner), passed away. She was the beloved wife of Martin (Marty) Becker, loving mother of Michael (Hilary) and Aaron (Karen), and cherished grandmother to Morgan, Rachel, Sam and Noah. She was a dear sister to Ira Posner (Sheila), fond aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews, and fabulous friend to many! She is predeceased by her brother, Charles Posner (Lynn).
Nancy loved traveling, reading, Mah Jongg, bridge, puzzles, and times at the beach, but most of all she loved her family and friends and enjoying their company. Nancy touched the lives of many in her career as an English teacher, and despite spending most of her life in Maryland, was a Brooklyn-ite at heart. Nancy made friends everywhere she went, and is remembered for her kind and generous spirit.
Graveside service and interment will be held at Judean Memorial Gardens (16225 Batchellors Forest Rd, Olney, MD 20832) on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022 at 2PM.
