Norma J Cooper

Norma was born on October 19, 1949 in Silver Spring, MD, the daughter of Ralph Stanley Price and Jane Allnutt Price.

Norma graduated from Richard Montgomery High School in 1967. She married D. Stephen Cooper on April 20, 1968 in Rockville, MD. She joined NOAA while Steve was deployed in Vietnam and ended her career upon his return to care for him and their children. Her love of children led her to open her home as a daycare, where she cared for countless children over an 18 year span. She continued to serve others as an office administrator at Judean and Norbeck Memorial Park in Olney, MD. Upon retirement, she dedicated her life to family and friends.

Norma is survived by her children Ross and Megan Cooper, her granddaughter, Ella Cooper, her brother and his wife, Ralph and Anne Price, along with their children Chris and Bob.

Preceding Norma in death are her parents Ralph and Jane Price and her husband of 39 years, Steve Cooper.

A visitation will be held on February 22nd at 10:00 AM at Hines Rinaldi Funeral Home. The visitation will be followed by a private graveside service at 2:30 PM at Parklawn Memorial Park.
