Paul Philip Connelly

Paul Philip Connelly, a life-long resident of Frederick Maryland, died unexpectedly on April 18, 2017 at the age of 52. Paul (Paulie) is survived by his parents Paul and Mary Connelly; sister Donna Hill (née Connelly); brother Robert Connelly; nephew Robert Marsh; and niece Ashley Schulte. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Rita and George Gilliam and paternal grandparents Wallace and Willie Connelly. Paul attended Rock Creek School in Frederick, Maryland. As an adult, he worked at MedImmune’s Frederick location for many years. Most recently, he was employed at Costco, also located in Frederick. Paul enjoyed both playing and watching many types of sports. He excelled in swimming and basketball. He was a sports fan who loved to watch his favorite baseball, football, and basketball teams compete both on television and in person. He especially cherished experiences on his recent trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. He enjoyed taking trips with his many friends at Community Living, Inc. Paul will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his strong work ethic, his tender heart, and his compassion for others. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, co-workers, and all who knew him. A private graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 pm on April 25th at Parklawn Memorial Gardens, 12800 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD. Flowers can be sent to the Hines-Rinaldi Funeral home at 11800 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20904 to arrive before 10:00 AM on April 25th. A memorial service to celebrate Paul’s life will be held at a later date.
