Paul Golden Hussey, Jr., age 86, of Silver Spring, MD, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2023 at his home with family by his side. Paul was born on October 18,1937 in Washington DC to the late Paul Hussey and Josephine (Dimisa) Moubayed. He is predeceased by his wife, Patricia (Frene) Hussey and son, Paul Martin Hussey.
Paul had a successful career as a meat cutter with Giant Food for 33 years. He had a passion for working on cars, riding motorcycles, water skiing, playing all sports (with a ball), camping, dancing and cruising in his 46 Ford.
Paul is survived by his daughters, Donna Weene and husband Seth and Patricia (Patsy) Woodward and husband Keith, 19 year loving companion, Barbara, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Paul’s qualities of light-hearted, positivity and strength made him a best friend to all he met. He attracted more women than a shoe sale at Macy’s with his flirtatious personality. He will forever be remembered as the kissing bandit.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 14 from 10am-12pm, and funeral services immediately following at 12pm at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home Funeral located at 11800 New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring, MD. Interment will be held at George Washington Cemetery in Adelphi, MD.
A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion Post 217 following internment (9218 Baltimore Ave., College Park)
Paul’s presence will deeply be missed by all who knew and loved him and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
