Phyllis Marcia Freirich nee Kaufman passed away on Thursday January 8 2026. She is survived by her beloved Husband, Paul Freirich, her beloved son, John Freirich, her beloved sister, Gale Bell, and her nieces and nephews, Karen, Hayley, and Samuel Russell.
Educated as a speech therapist she later in life found her niche and all consuming activity as a Docent at the National Gallery of Art where she spent 32 years in that function.
She was a bright and caring woman whose face always carried a smile and a kind word for others. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who are very many.
A brief ceremony will be held at the gravesite at 1 pm on Friday January 16 at George Washington/Mount Lebanon Cemetery 9500 Riggs Rd. Adelphi Md
