
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robin Susan Neidorf-Barr, who departed this life peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2025, surrounded by family and love. She was seventy-five years old.
Born on May 23,1950 in Washington, DC, Robin was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Ralph Barr, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and unwavering devotion. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, love, and compassion—a legacy that continues through their children and grandchildren. Robin was known for her kindness, determination, love for family, and the way she made everyone feel loved in her presence. Whether through her homemade cooking, flower planting or her career as a social worker. She is survived by her sister Carol Herman, Daughters, Tracy Willis (Matthew Willis), Erin Smith, Grandchildren, Nia Smith (Brandon Stanton), Abigail Kennedy, Sullivan Kennedy, Jamal Butler, Jr. and Harrison Kennedy, Great-Grandchild, Legend Stanton, all of whom will carry her memory forward with love and gratitude.
A graveside service to honor her life will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 10:00am at Judean Memorial Gardens, 16225 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney MD. The family will not be sitting Shiva but appreciates the love and support from friends and loved ones during this time.
Though she is no longer with us, Robin’s love will remain forever in our hearts.
