Sandra was born November 24, 1947 in Washington, D.C. to Daisy (Thornton) Poles and Telous U. Poles.
Sandra is survived by; daughter Tanya Michelle Dailey; son Ernest Michael Alvis; and grandson Christian Elijah Alvis.
Sandra was preceded in death by; husband Ernest Alvis, Jr.; father Telous U. Poles and mother Daisy (Thornton) Poles.
A celebration of life for Sandra will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland 20904. Flower arrangements will be accepted.
