

He came to America from China as a child & achieved the American dream.
He enrolled in college at the age of 16 & graduated from the University of Maryland in three years as a civil engineer. He had a successful career with the US Army Corps of Engineers and upon retirement embarked on a second career at WMATA in helping to construct the new Washington Metro System. He subsequently endowed a scholarship to the University of Maryland School of Engineering. His loving wife & our beloved mother Rose passed away in 2015.
He is survived by his son Eric, his wife Marylove, grandsons Kevin, John & eldest grandson Liam, his wife Shari & great grandchildren Patrick and Alyssa.
He is also survived by his daughter Rebecca, her husband Evan & granddaughter Rose & her husband Zachary Becker.
Dad was a devout Christian & gave much time and talent in service to his church. He showed daily kindness & generosity to his family & touched many lives in his community of friends.
