Admitted to practice of law Illinois Supreme Court of State of Illinois June 15, 1939, subsequently admitted to practice U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois; U.S. Court of Appeals, 7th Circuit; U.S. Supreme Court 1960; U.S. Court of Military Appeals. Legal employment: employed from 1931-1939 at the law officers of Wilhartz and Hirsch and employed from 1940-1941 at the Shaeffer and Masor law offices, while attending college and law school. Hobbies: all sorts of needlework, avid reader and theatre-goer, in youth very active in amateur dramatics, acted, and wrote skits.
