Ruth F. Simon, age 90. Beloved wife of the late Herbert G. Simon. Daughter of the late Samuel L. and Lillian Fishman. Devoted mother of Bert "Mickey" (Kathleen) Simon of Dallas and Roger (Michael Bauer) Simon of Chicago. Cherished grandmother of Julia (Mauricio) Fallas, Laura (Ben) Weinstein, and Jaclyn (Michael) Fisherman. Loving great grandmother of Dylan, Simon, Harlow, and Amia. Graveside service Weds 12 Noon at Jewish Oakridge Cemetery, 4301 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL. Ruth attended the University of Cincinnati. She received a commendation from the Navy for her civilian service during WWII. She also was an accomplished artist who had her work shown at the Art Institute of Chicago.
