Beatrice Bea J. Jones

She was born in Long Pond Twp on May 22, 1921, the daughter of George and Martha (Redmond) Gagne.

Beatrice married Cecil Jones on June 26, 1939 in Norridgewock. Cecil passed away in August 2010.

She was a member of the Federated Church in Norridgewock.

Beatrice spent most of her life raising her children and babysitting many other children in the Norridgewock area. She loved babies. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and singing in the choir. She loved her puzzles and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her three sons; Leroy Jones and his wife Dollis of Waldoboro, and their four children; Beth, Mark, Kimi and Chad, Larry Jones and his wife Brenda of Norridgewock and their three children; Scott, Tammy and Ryan, Vurle Jones and his wife Denise of Skowhegan and their five children; Michael, Denise, Tracy, Todd J and Todd H, One daughter; Sharon Dodge of Norridgewock and her three children; Brian, Brandi and Aimee, Thirty one great grandchildren, one sister in-law; Arlene Hilton and many Nieces, Nephews and friends.

She is predeceased by one son; baby Wayne, two brothers; William Gagne and Guy Gagne, four sisters; Florence Cayia, Lillian Joy, Pearl Marshall and Ernestine Bass.

The family would like to give special thanks to Pam Walker for all the loving care she gave to Bea and Cecil. The family would also like to thank the staff at Cedar Ridge Rehab and Nursing Center for the loving care they gave our mother.

Visitation hours will be held at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011 from 5:00p.m-8:00p.m, a funeral service will be held at Norridgewock Community Baptist Church on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 at 2:00p.m.
