Harold D Harvey

He was born January 7, 1937 in Waldo, Maine, the son of Jesse Harvey and Marion (Smith) Carroll.

He was educated in Belfast schools.

Harold married the former Lillian L. Pearlstein.

He was self-employed painting houses in California for many years.

He loved people and enjoyed visiting friends, loved driving, telling stories and tales to anyone that would listen, and loved telling jokes.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Lillian of Canaan, his brother Frank Harvey and his wife Erica of Belfast, his two brother-in-laws; Ernest “Rollo” Pearlstein and his wife Marjorie of Malden, MA, Harvey Pearlstein and his wife Ellen of Wilmington, MA, his sister-in-law, Joyce Copithorne and her husband Tom of Norwood, MA, many nieces and nephews, cousins and many special friends. Harold also leaves his pets; his dogs; Bea, Sugar, Fanny-Mae, and Mask, Cuddles the Cat, and Joy the Cockatiel.

He was predeceased by his mom and dad, his brother Ernest Harvey and sister Ada McKinney and also his pets; Cujo, Yoda, Sable and Duchie.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
