Michael Joseph Dodge

He was born September 2, 1989 in Waterville, Maine, the son of Thomas J. Dodge and Lisa J. (Lang) Foster.

Mike graduated from Skowhegan Area High School in the class of 2007; in 2011 he graduated from Thomas College with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.

He worked as a driver for Marshall Automotive in Skowhegan for four years. Mike had just started a new job working for New Balance in Norridgewock.

He loved to go target shooting, camping, fishing and playing softball. Mike especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

Michael leaves his fiancé Sierra Marshall of Skowhegan, his father Thomas Dodge of Canaan, his mother Lisa Foster and her husband Kevin of Skowhegan, his soon to be father and mother in-law Bing and Lisa Marshall, paternal grandparents Thomas and Marie Dodge of Waterville, two brothers; Thomas P. Dodge and his wife Ashley of Skowhegan, Cory W. Dodge of Skowhegan, his sister Emilee Dodge of Skowhegan, two step-brothers; Josh Foster of Madison, Patrick Foster of Skowhegan, aunts, uncles, and cousins and many nieces and nephews and his cat Tigger.

A memorial service will be held for close family and friends on Saturday August 17, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Skowhegan Federated Church, Island Ave., Skowhegan, Maine, with Rev. Mark Tanner officiating. A burial will follow the service at the Fairview Cemetery in Canaan, Maine.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
