Born on July 8, 1956, in Skowhegan, Maine, Sean was the eldest son of Raymond K. Finley and Mary D. Finley.
He was a 1974 graduate of Skowhegan Area High School and was a 1978 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono, receiving a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Lake Wesserunsett and Sugarloaf are two places that held a very special spot in Sean’s life, and heart. As a child, young adult, and then as a father, he was at the lake and the mountain. Whether it be on water or snow, Sean was truly happiest with a pair of skis strapped to his feet or when sitting behind the wheel of a boat; that is for certain. His time spent at these places with family and friends are moments that Sean always held dear to his heart.
