Wayne M Shaw

He was born June 25, 1956 in Skowhegan, Maine, the son of Maurice Shaw and June (Perkins) Shaw.

Wayne graduated from Skowhegan Area High School in the class of 1974.

He entered the US Army in 1977and ended his military career in Germany as a military policeman.

Wayne loved going to church, loved playing cribbage, loved telling jokes, going to area fairs and taking his mom to lunch and supper.

He is survived by his mother June Shaw of Skowhegan, his brother Frank M. Shaw of Livermore Falls, his sister Ramona Quirion of Clifton Park, NY, his two sons, Michael W. Shaw and his wife Lizbeth of El Paso, TX, Christopher W. Shaw of El Paso, TX, his daughter, April M. Telles and her husband Jaime of El Paso, TX, his grandchildren, Michael, Noah, Yareli, Micah, Ezra and Isaiah, and his special friend Jon Ames.

A special thank you to Wayne’s cousin Duane Casey and his wife Judy for their endless love, support and hospital visits.

Viewing hours will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine, with a funeral service one Tuesday December 1, 2015 at 10 am at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine. Interment will be held at the Southside Cemetery in Skowhegan, Maine.
