Wendy Lynn Fox

She was born March 2, 1955 in Denville, New Jersey, the daughter of Nicholas Sanagorski and Patricia A. (Pomroy) Sanagorski.

She graduated from Morris Hill High School in Rockaway, New Jersey in the class of 1973.

Wendy worked for GE Medical Systems in Parsippany, NJ for 5 years, she worked in a variety of retail stores in the cash offices for a number of years and she spent many years as a homemaker as well.

She enjoyed going to the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Jay, Maine. She loved to read, bird watching, Ukrainian egg decorating, cooking and she loved her pets. She also loved being on the water on North Pond in Smithfield watching the sunsets. Wendy loved the time she spent with her family.

Besides her husband Robert of 20 years of Mercer, she is survived by her sister Sue Sanagorski-Phillips and her husband David of Harmony, one brother Thomas Sanagorski and his wife Becky of Dillsburg, PA, her mother and father in-law Robert and Mary V Fox of Newton, NJ, her nieces and nephews; Rebecca, Laura, Emily, Karin, Sam, Sarah, Jessica, Chucky Jimmy, her uncle Marshall, her aunt Marilyn and several cousins, a very dear friend Carol DiLeo of N.J., Sister-in-law Debbie Shaver and her husband Jim of Pequannock, NJ.

She was predeceased by her mother and father and one brother Michael Sanagorski.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 11, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Mercer Community Center, 1015 Beech Hill Rd., Mercer, Maine.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
