Dallas and the Burlison family had a profound impact on my life as a young man moving to Washington in 1978. As a Christian man he walked the talk and demonstrated God's grace with his mere presence. All the kids loved him and would come to him with any need or care. Even though we lost touch over time, I never lost how you touched my life.

Dearest Nancy and your beautiful family. We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved husband Dallas. He will surely be missed by all who knew him. I know I will miss his sweet, calm, patient, steady nature. 
Last time I visited you two, he said I hadn't changed a bit, although it had been more than ten years since I had last seen you. So, I suggested he might need new glasses. :~) But I'll never forget his grace in that moment, and every time I think of him, it makes me smile.
The only consolation is that we will see him again one day in heaven. I'll be looking forward to that reunion, by remembering our last meeting.

Sorry to hear about our good friend Dallas.  We have a lot of happy memories of time spent with him.  We were all like brothers and will be forever.

The Wiens family stands in solidarity with you all. We value Dallas and the love and fun we always had with him. From roadtrips, hilarious stories, to incredible facts he'd share: Uncle Dallas was a true family man. 

While we know God has a plan for us all, it's hard to lose those we love. Dallas is teasing Terri and sharing tales of Boeing coworkers with Kent. Life continues for all, some of us in a better place.

Dear Burlison family,
I'm so blessed to have known Dallas meeting him when I was only 16 when I went to work at Sahale Ice Cream and served him up his favorite ice cream of Cherry Amaretto! Fortunately Nancy and I have stayed in touch all of these now 39 years so I have been able to see them throughout the years and my last memory of Dallas is sharing a wonderful meal and playing a round of games at their La Conner home! My thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you during this difficult time. I know all of Heaven is rejoicing with his homecoming and I cannot wait to see Dallas again with his infectious smile and genuine laughter! Much love to all of you!
