Grace Lorraine Rondorf

Grace Rondorf, 76, died peacefully in her home on February 7, 2014, surrounded by her four children. Grace was born March 3, 1937 in Brady, MT to Melvin and Josephine Severson. She was the fifth of ten children. She married Robert Rondorf in June, 1959 and moved to Washington to start their family. Her joys in life included gardening, canning, playing cards with family and friends, square dancing and being a grandma. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years; and four of her siblings. She is survived by her children, Tammy, Derrick, Teresa and her husband, Jim Shields; Tonya and her husband, Eric Pierce; and her six grandchildren, all residing in the surrounding Everett area. A viewing will be held Friday, February 14, 2014 at Bauer Funeral Home in Snohomish, WA from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with the Rosary being said at 6 p.m. Services will be held Saturday, February 15 at Bauer Funeral Home in Snohomish at 11:00 a.m. Graveside service is on Monday, February 17 at Holyrood Cemetery in Shoreline, WA at 11:30 a.m. Her children would like to thank the caregivers at The Cottages of Marysville for their unconditional love that they showed their mother over the past two years. A journey has come to a heartbreaking end. The blessings of cherished memories will carry us through.
