Julia A. Gusman, 93, a resident of Snohomish, passed away April 6, 2014. Julia was born Sept 16, 1920 in Duluth, MN. She worked as a riveter during WWII, later she owned and operated 3 restaurants. She was excellent at crocheting, an excellent seamstress, and the best fisherman around. Julia was a dedicated mom and daughter. She raised her younger siblings, as well as took care of her parents in their later years. She was able to live an independent and full life up until her stroke making every moment count.
Julia is survived by her son, Berton John Abernathy, her grandchildren, Josh Abernathy, Tabetha Taylor, and Beau Abernathy. And great grandchildren , Bella and Ellie Taylor, Ashby, Finson, Huckston, Avanlye Abernathy.
Graveside service to be held Friday, April 11, 2014, 2:00 PM at the G.A.R. Cemetery, Snohomish, Washington.
