Laureen Joy Goebel

Laureen had a passion for the outdoors, reading, gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren and animals. She will always be remembered for the huge amount of love she showed for all her friends and family. Laureen was a member of the American Legion and Eagles. She was the first female Aerie member and Trustee of the Eagles.

She is survived by husband, Steve Morse; sons, Ches (Shanna) Cunningham, and Cole Cunningham; daughter, Corinne Cunningham; mother, Eleanor (Ray) McIntosh; brother, Tony Goebel; grandmother, Lela Hembd; grandchildren, Emma, Sophia, Carter, and extended family.

A memorial service will be held Wed. July 21, 2011 at 3PM at Snohomish First Presbyterian Church, 1311 Lakeview Drive, Snohomish. A reception will follow at the church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to her favorite charity, USO.
