Melvin Jenkins, 91, born December 4, 1922 passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2013. He is survived by his brother, Delbert Jenkins; sons, John Jenkins and David Jenkins; daughter-in-law, Dianna Jenkins; grandchildren, Elliott Jenkins, Jesse Jenkins, Veronica Jenkins, and Stephanie Johnson; and great-granddaughter, Faith Nelton. He did service in the army and lived in Stanwood, WA with his loving wife, Betty Jenkins, later moving to Lake Stevens, WA. Mel had many friends. He was smart and a Grade A mechanic. He will be missed greatly. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on December 18, 2013 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Lake Stevens.
