

Rito Campos Sevilla (Tatay) was born on May 22, 1933, in Palompon, Leyte, Philippines. He was one of 13 children of Gerardo and Elena Sevilla. He worked in Vietnam and Saudi Arabia as a mechanic for construction companies, and tended to his beloved farmland in the Philippines.
In December 1, 1969, he married his beautiful and devoted wife, Anita Marquez Sevilla, and together had six children. Rito and Anita celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary last December in Virginia.
Rito and his family immigrated to the United States in December 1984 and lived in Oak Harbor, WA for nineteen years prior to living to Everett, WA. Rito was a hardworking man who worked in Oak Harbor and Mount Vernon. He was very devoted and sacrificed much for his family.
Some of Rito’s favorite pastimes and treasured memories were fixing cars, fishing, and playing mahjong with his children, grandchildren and extended family. He and Anita take pleasure in spending quality time with family and traveling, and he especially loved visiting his homeland in the Philippines.
On June 21, 2013, Rito passed away peacefully at home, surrounded with comfort and devotion from his wife, children, and grandchildren. Rito leaves a legacy of love, strength, loyalty and stewardship. He was 80 years old.
Rito will be deeply missed and always treasured by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Anita Sevilla, and his children Rowena Sevilla-Aldana, Hilda Esposito, Gerry Sevilla, Brenda Sevilla-Miranda, Myra Sevilla and Liz Sevilla; Benes Aldana, Anthony Esposito, Roel Miranda and Jay Cross; grandchildren Ehrik Aldana, Meah Cross Sevilla, Alivia Bobbitt, Nikolas Esposito, Jasmine Bobbitt, and Samantha Esposito; and siblings Angela Martinez, Leonarda Mamales, Rita Caldwell, and Fr. Dennis Sevilla, in addition to his extended family and friends.
