Ruth was born in Seattle on November 18th, 1936 to Engrid and Ging Borghes.
Ruth was mother to Scott and Russ. She raised her children with love and devotion in Seattle, moving to Lake Stevens 1973 with her husband James Simcox. She started a new chapter in her life with husband Bill Frisk in 1985, as well as becoming a Patient Care Tech at Puget Sound Kidney Center.
Ruth was known for her ability to make her co-workers and patients laugh, put in long days and outwork people half her age. She continued to work part time after retirement as a Care Tech as well as becoming a licensed massage therapist.
She is survived by her loving family, Scott and Lanny, Russ and Vicki, and her grandchildren Tobias, Kristina, and William.
Services will be a graveside service. The service will be held Monday, September 27, 2021 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Machias Cemetery, 1201 Silva St. Snohomish, WA 98290.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.bauerfuneralchapel.com for the Frisk family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Puget Sound Kidney Centers Foundation would be a great honor to her and her dedication to the career she loved.
