Sharon Lynn Watkins of Snohomish, Washington went home to be with Jesus on December 2nd, 2020. Shari was born in Seattle, Washington on March 6th, 1945 but spent her childhood years in Bay Shore, New York, before moving back to Seattle in her teens. Her heart belonged to both coasts.
She fought her third battle with cancer with courage, strength and bravery but this time it was just too much.
She is predeceased by her parents John and Geraldine Kletchka and her best friend Mary West.
She is survived by her daughters Bambi (Adam) Juozapaitis, Danielle (Jeff) Talbert, Tonya Raether and her son Michael (Savanna) Raether; her grandchildren Cory (Courtney) Shadley, Michael Shadley, Tiffany Davis, Kayla Davis, Destiny Grice, Isaiah Raether, Nathanial Raether, Tyler Johnson, Zachary Mathis, Jazmyn Raether, Alex Johnson, Ben Juozapaitis, Sawyer Juozapaitis, AJ Moultrie and her great grandchildren Noah and Nicoletta Shadley.
She is also survived by her brother Jack (Ruth) Kletchka, sister Kathi (Ron) Perry, sister Sue (Tim) Kratz and her beloved nieces and nephews Shoni, Misti, John, Ryan, Megan, Jordan and their extended families.
Of special mention is the countless extended family members and friends that she has had over the years. She did not have acquaintances. You were either her friend or she had not met you yet. It did not matter how much time had gone by, once she knew you, you were always her friend and she always loved you.
She was a fighter and a true survivor with an unwavering faith in Jesus. Her final days she did not spend worrying about herself but instead concerned about her children and grandchildren, making sure that they knew how much she loved them and needed for them to take care of each other. Her family was everything to her.
Her passing has left a gaping hole in the hearts and lives of all of those that love her. We find solace in knowing that she is running around Heaven worshipping and serving God in a body that is no longer in pain. But we cannot help but wish she was still here with us.
We are so grateful that God lent her to us and will miss her so much.
