Tina "Christina" Dunkin

Christina (Tina) Swezey Dunkin was born August 29, 1930 in Campo, Colorado, to Loren and Noma Swezey. She entered into rest December 2, 2012, peacefully surrounded by family, friends and church members.

Tina attended schools in Colorado, Oklahoma and Washington, and graduated from Issaquah High School in 1949. She was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn by Bro. Alvin Young on April 26, 1948.

Tina married Virgil Eugene Dunkin on June 4, 1955, and together they had 2 children, Mark Loren Eugene and Noma Christina.

She is survived by her son Mark Dunkin; daughter Christy (Joe) Darling; grandsons Christopher, Benjamin and Alexander Darling; special friend Charlotte Easter; sisters Lorean Kruiswyk and Wynona (Ray) Schreeder; brothers Charles Swezey, Neal Swezey, and Phillip (Betty) Swezey; sisters-in-law Nancy Swezey and Velma Huckabay, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tina was preceded in death by her husband Gene, brothers Dale and Norman (Bud) Swezey, sister Shirley F. Mathews, and parents Loren and Noma Swezey.

Funeral Services will be held 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 8th, 2012 at the Snohomish Church Of The Firstborn, 914 13th St., Snohomish with burial following at G.A.R. Cemetery.
