Mrs. Antoinette "Toni" (Gullotto) Stagnitta

Antoinette “Toni” (Gullotto) Stagnitta, 86, of Fairmount, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday November 8, 2013. Toni lived her life with dignity and grace. Her loving kindness touched everyone she met. Toni always had an encouraging word for others, and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Born to the late Mariano and Assunta (Arnone) Gullotto, she was a life resident of Syracuse and graduate of North High School. Antoinette worked as a secretary for West Genesee School District over 20 years before retiring in 1989. Toni loved to cook and spend time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Syracuse Vineyard Church. Antoinette was predeceased by her husband, Manuel Stagnitta in 2005. Toni’s family would like to express a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at University Hospital and staff and volunteers at Francis House for their exceptional care.

She is survived by 2 sons; Mark (Debbie), of Camillus and Richard (Vicky), of Baldwinsville, 4 grandchildren; Adam, David, Sondra and Timothy, 2 sisters-in-law; Mary Rose Stagnitta and Esther Bassett, a brother-in-law; Lyle Bassett and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am Tuesday in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 pm Monday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
