Danny Lawrence Barrows

Danny Lawrence Barrows, 62, passed away suddenly at his home in Lafayette, NY on April 26, 2016. Born on February 21, 1954 in Syracuse, NY he graduated from Solvay High School in 1972. Married to Judith Heffernan for 24 years with whom he shares two sons. Dan worked for over 30 years at Cooper Industries. Dan will be remembered for his smile and always having a funny story to tell. He loved his many cats and dogs he had over the years. He was also an avid Builder of model airplanes and had a passion for classic cars. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Ollie and Veronica Barrows as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dan is leaving behind his sons, Danny Barrows Jr., of Marcellus, N.Y. and Timothy (Melody) Barrows, of Mocksville, N.C., his 7 grandchildren and many friends and family.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am Thursday, July 28, 2016 at St. Cecilia Church, 1001 Woods Rd., Solvay.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to his sons. If you wish to visit his grave, he was laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Warners, NY, alongside his parents.
