David Alan Slazik

David was a graduate of Westhill High School & their BOCES program which led to him owning and operating his own business, Prototype Tool & Design. He was an active volunteer in the Tully Central School District and was a friend of Bill W.’s who participated in, and was loved by the Fellowship. Among David’s greatest qualities were his larger than life personality and ability to live life to the absolute fullest.

He is survived by his two beloved children, Matthew and Natalie whom he adored and viewed as his greatest achievement. With their mother, Colleen, David always kept his children at the center of everything he did. He is also survived by parents Walter & Adeline Slazik of Syracuse, brothers, Michael (Anny), Paul (Kathy); sister, Jeanne (Tom) Michaels; several aunts, an uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nephews and many close friends. He is preceded in death by his sister, Susan Slazik Dusse.

There are no calling hours. There will be a family and friends gathering from 9-10 am on Monday, September 14, 2015 at St. Charles Borromeo Church with funeral Mass celebrating David’s life at 10 am. Burial immediately following at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dewitt.
