Eleanore Iadanza, 77, of N. Fort Myers, Fl, formerly of Solvay, passed away Sunday in Cape Coral. Born in Utica, she was a graduate of Crouse Irving School of Nursing. She worked as an RN for both Midtown and Hutchings Hospitals in Syracuse before retiring. She was a member of the Eastern Star #567, and the Syracuse German-American Club. Eleanore enjoyed living life to its fullest, and spending time with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel and beloved cat Schotzie.
She is survived by her daughter; Karen (Joseph) Szymanski, of Solvay, 2 sons; Thomas (Susanne), of Georgetown, TX. and David (Nancy), of Farmington, 6 grandchildren; Matthew and Kristen Szymanski, Dylan, Danny, Danielle and Courtney Iadanza, 2 sisters-in-law; Angeline Iadanza, of Solvay and Elizabeth Ruane, of Syracuse, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 10 am to noon Saturday, with services immediately following at noon in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.
