Elva M Cavedine

Elva (Hatch) Cavedine, 89, of Syracuse, formerly of Sun City, AZ and Solvay, passed away Thursday at Loretto. Born and raised in Solvay, she was employed by Solvay Bank for many years as a loan officer before retiring in 1980. Elva was predeceased by her husband Albino in 2005.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law; Audrey and Richard Sauer, of Pennellville, a son and daughter-in-law; Tom and Nancy Cavedine, of St. Louis, MO, 5 grandchildren; Allen (Annie) and Lee Cavedine, Lauren (Peter) Charles and Kyle and Erik Sauer, 1 great granddaughter; Samantha Cavedine, and many nieces and nephews.

Services are private. There are no calling hours. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay, has care of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Heritage Apartments at Loretto, 750 E. Brighton Ave., Syracuse, NY 13205.
