Jean A. Liggett

Jean Liggett, 86, of Fairmount, passed away Sunday at Community General Hospital. Born in Auburn, she lived in Fairmount most of her life. Mrs. Liggett was a longtime communicant of Holy Family Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas in 2006.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Linda Crawford, of Syracuse and Donna (Steve) Haresky, of Fairmount, 3 sons; Thomas (Pam), of Camillus, Charles (Elaine), of Manlius and John (Brenda), of Colorado, 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, a sister; Mary E. Hughes, of Syracuse, a sister-in-law; Ann (Floyd) Slocum, of Syracuse, and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am in Holy Family Church, Fairmount. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours are private. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay has care of arrangements.
