Mrs. Jeanette "Tina" DeGaetano Bobey

Jeanette R. Bobey, 70, of Fairmount, passed away Wednesday at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. Born in Oxford, NY, she lived in Syracuse most of her life. She was a medical transcriptionist at ENT of CNY in Syracuse for over 30 years before retiring in 2002. Jeanette was a communicant of Holy Family Church in Fairmount.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Eugene, 2 sons, Eugene R., Jr, of Fairmount and Geoffrey A. (Stacey), of Liverpool, 2 sisters, Grace (Dwight) Churchill, of Orange Park, FL and Mary Ann (Thomas) Long, of Memphis, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and “adopted” granddaughters, Melanie and Anna Iauco.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9:15 am Monday October 17th in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 10 am in Holy Family Church, Fairmount, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are from 1 to 4 pm Sunday October 16th at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Ave.
