Katherine T. Tague McConnell

Katherine T. (Tague) McConnell, 90, lifelong resident of Solvay, was called to join Our Lord on Monday June 18th. As a resident at Van Duyn Home and Hospital, she was a member and past president of the Resident Council. Katherine was employed by Borden’s Research and Archie’s Restaurant. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She loved playing Bingo, watching her NY Yankees and enjoyed following Joe Torre. She was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy Jean McConnell, son, Timothy P. McConnell, brother, Richard Tague, and sister, Jane Tague-Britschgi.

She is survived by 3 daughters; Sharon (Reno) Tarolli, Jane T. (Bernie) Bielawa and Jeanne (Carmen) Demperio, daughter-in-law; Kathleen McConnell, 5 grandchildren; Kevin, Kate and Nick Demperio, Kelly and Bridget McConnell, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:15 am Saturday in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9 am at St. Cecilia Church, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 pm Friday at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Avenue.
