Mr. Lorenzo Vittore

Lorenzo Vittore, 68, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 26th at Upstate University Hospital. Born in Bari, Italy, he immigrated to Syracuse in 1966. He was formerly employed by Crouse Hinds and was a self employed painter before opening LV Café Sport in Syracuse in 1995. Lorenzo was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Jakubowski in 1974 and brothers Frank and John of Luxembourg.

He is survived by his loving companion of 28 years, Shirley Cook, a daughter; Jilda (Charles) Lougnot, of Pennellville, a son; Gerard (Crystal Kingsley) Vittore, of Syracuse, 2 sisters; Costanza, of Bari, Italy and Lucia, of Milan, Italy, 6 grandchildren, 3 nieces, 1 nephew and many cousins.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday October 1st at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St Peter Church, Syracuse. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Skaneateles. Calling hours are from 4 to 6 pm Thursday September 30th at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave.
