Margaret (Bianchi) Swete

Margaret ‘Margie’ (Bianchi) Swete, 80, of Solvay, passed away Tuesday, March 1st at Crouse Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Syracuse to the late Nicholas and Lucy (Alberti) Bianchi in 1936. Margie worked in the accounting department at Carrier Corporation for 43 years before retiring. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Cecilia Church, an avid Bingo player and member of Geddes Seniors. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert in 1993.

She is survived by her sister; Lucille Pettitt, of Syracuse, brother; Nicholas (Linda) Bianchi, of Solvay and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 8:45 am Friday, March 4, 2016 at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 am at St. Cecilia Church, Solvay, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. Family and friends may call Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 4 to 8 pm at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
