Marie A. Pistilli Snyder

Marie (Pistilli) Snyder, 78, of Solvay, passed away Saturday October 8th at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she graduated from John W Hallahan Catholic Girls High School and later relocated to Solvay with her family. She was employed by Onondaga County for over 30 years, working in the Health Department and later the Personnel Department before retiring in 1999. Marie was a longtime communicant of St. Cecilia Church.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Laurene (James) Cavallaro, of Syracuse and Jeanette (Edward) Weber, of Lakeland, 4 grandchildren; Katie Cavallaro, of CA, Stephanie Cavallaro, Diana and Daniel Fadden, all of Syracuse.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:15 am Thursday October 13th in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9 am in St. Cecilia Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday October 12th at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Ave.
