MaryJane Casimiro

MaryJane (Britschgi) Casimiro, 83, of Lakeland, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at St. Camillus Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Syracuse to the late Christian and Mary (Rychter) Britschgi in 1931. MaryJane worked in the cafeteria of Solvay Schools for over 40 years before retiring in 2008. She was a member of Lakeside Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Lakeland Seniors and a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church. MaryJane was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1983, her grandson, Joseph Falcone in 1998, her brother, Christian Britschgi and sister, Diantha Holihan.

She is survived by a daughter; Mary (Manny) Falcone, of Lakeland, a son; Peter (Doreen) Casimiro, of Lakeland, 4 grandchildren; Brittni, Allysa, Peter, Jr and EJ, and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, December 1, 2014 at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Peace Church, Lakeland. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt. Family and friends may call Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 1 to 4 pm at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
