

Michael T. Bajish, 69, of Solvay, passed away Tuesday, July 7 at home with his family by his side. He was born in Syracuse and graduated from Solvay High School in 1963. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, during which he served with the 162nd AHC from 1966-67. He was employed by Allied Chemical, LCP, Romano Ford and Burdick Toyota. He was a member of the Solvay-Geddes Vets, Right Coast Association, National Street Rod Association and was a communicant of St. Cecilia Church.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, the former Rosemary Colelli; son, Michael (Denise) Bajish, of Syracuse; daughter, Emily (Robbie Gruninger) Bajish, of Lakeland; 5 grandchildren: Alex Toole and Morgan Bajish, of Phoenix, Destynee Raines, Brooklyn and Jade Collier, all of Syracuse; his parents, Myron and Clara (Kucharski) Bajish, of Westvale; sister-in-law, Joan (James) Spallone, of FL; brother-in-law, Edward (Ellen) Colelli, of Solvay; beloved nieces, nephews and cousins,and his faithful companion,Lucy.
Funeral services will be held at 8:45 am Monday, July 13, 2015 at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 am at St. Cecilia's Church, Solvay where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated.
The Rite of Committal and burial with Military Honors will follow in Onondaga County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
